The makers of Tere Ishk Mein have released the first teaser of the film, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the movie looks like an emotional love story filled with passion, pain, and heartbreak. The music is by A.R. Rahman, and from the first few seconds, it already feels haunting and beautiful. The teaser hints that this won’t be a typical romantic film but one that explores how love can both heal and destroy.
The story seems to follow Shankar, played by Dhanush, and Mukti, played by Kriti. The teaser opens with Mukti’s wedding ceremony, where Shankar arrives straight from his father’s funeral. He pours Ganga jal on her, asking her to wash away her sins before starting a new life. The moment is intense and symbolic, showing how much pain and anger still exist between them. Their relationship clearly runs deep, filled with both love and resentment.
As the teaser continues, we see glimpses of their past — full of joy, passion, and chaos. Kriti’s character drinks to numb her sadness, while Dhanush’s character fights his own battles. The setting of Benaras adds a spiritual layer to their story, blending devotion with destruction. The visuals are poetic, and every frame seems to carry meaning, as if love itself is both a blessing and a curse.
The film also brings together a familiar team. Director Aanand L Rai and Dhanush are reuniting after Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re. Writer Himanshu Sharma, lyricist Irshad Kamil, and composer A.R. Rahman are back as well, promising the same magic that gave us songs like “Raanjhanaa” and “Chaka Chak.” Their collaboration has always produced stories and music that touch the heart, and Tere Ishk Mein seems to follow the same path.
Produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions, Tere Ishk Mein will release in cinemas on November 28, 2025, in Hindi and Tamil. From what the teaser shows, the film is about love in its purest and most painful form — a story where surrender, loss, and longing all come together. It looks like a movie that will stay with the audience long after it ends.
