Kannada superstar Yash‘s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ release date pushed back from March 19 to June 4, 2026. ‘Toxic’ was set to compete at the box office with other big films, including Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’.
In an official statement, the film’s crew said that the ongoing uncertainty in the Middle East and the resulting global situation have impacted their plans to reach the widest audience, leading to the difficult decision to reschedule the release date. The statement added, “We thank you for your understanding and patience and look forward to your continued love and support.”
‘Toxic’ Teaser and Trailer
Ahead of the film’s release this month, the makers have released two teasers. The first one shows the bloodshed that awaits the audience in the film, while the second one gives a glimpse of Yash’s beardless avatar in the film. However, the trailer of the film is yet to be released, but it is expected to be released soon.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups Runtime
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding rock star Yash’s upcoming film ‘Toxic’, after it was revealed that he is definitely playing two characters in the film – Raya and Ticket. With Yash seen in various hairstyles, tattoos and more in the teaser, fans started wondering if it would be possible to pack so much into one film, leading to rumours that ‘Toxic’ could be a two-part project. However, the film’s PR team has dismissed all such speculations as “factually incorrect”.
‘Toxic’ is expected to be over 3 hours long as a standalone film, as Yash will next be working on ‘Ramayana Part 2’, which is set to release in 2027. It turns out that the over three-hour length is indeed true. A listing for ‘Toxic’ for American movie theater chain AMC reveals that the film will be 3 hours and 15 minutes long.
