CCTV footage showed two men firing at controversial YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvis Yadav’s Gurugram residence on Sunday morning.
The one-minute video clip shows three masked men riding a bike outside Elvish Yadav’s house at around 5:30 am. A few minutes later, two of them started firing at the YouTuber’s house. They then paused for a while—apparently to load their guns—and continued firing at the residence. One of the gunmen even opened fire from the main gate. Then the three men fled from the spot immediately.
At least 25 shots were fired at Yadav’s house. Elvish Yadav was not at home during the incident. According to the police, he had gone out of Haryana on some work. However, the housekeeper and some family members were inside, but no one was hurt.
Mr. Yadav’s father, who was inside the house when the shooting took place, said they were sleeping when they heard the gunshots. “We heard a sound around 5:30 am. When we came out and looked, we saw that shots had been fired. Then we immediately checked the CCTV. We saw that two people were definitely involved, and maybe a third one too. We have informed the police,” said Ram Avtar Yadav.
A few hours later, gangsters Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritoliya, associated with the Himanshu Bhau gang, claimed responsibility through a social media post. The post claims responsibility for the shooting, accusing YouTuber Elvis of promoting gambling. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the police have started an investigation by analyzing CCTV evidence to arrest the suspects.
Elvis’s father also said that he was not aware that his son was involved in any gambling campaign and that he had not received any threats.
