Saiyaara Story: Inspired by the Korean film ‘A Moment to Remember’ (2004), ‘Saiyaara’ is a love story filled with intense emotions and heart-wrenching music. The film tells the story of Krish Kapoor, a talented but troubled musician, and Vaani Batra, a shy poet who is recovering from a heart attack. Their paths cross when Krish is deeply moved by Vaani’s poetry and asks her to write lyrics for his songs. As they work together, their artistic collaboration develops into a deep emotional bond and eventually into love.
Their relationship is tested when Vani is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. As her memory begins to fade, Krish is faced with the heartbreaking choice of pursuing her career or staying by her side. He chooses love and dedicates himself to her, even as Vani begins to forget him. In the final act of Love and Memory, Vani writes a song called “Saiyaara” before she disappears. Krish, now a successful musician, uses the song to search for her. He eventually finds her in an ashram, where he no longer recognizes her, but she slowly helps him remember their past. The film ends with their reunion and a performance at Wembley Stadium.
