Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas and starring Yash, Kareena Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Shruti Haasan, is described as a fairy tale for grown-ups on social media. In the middle of the speculation, the film’s producers published a statement on Saturday requesting that everyone refrain from guessing.
“There are several unconfirmed speculations and facts floating around regarding the casting of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. We appreciate the enthusiasm around Toxic, but at this time, we are asking that everyone refrain from conjecture. The casting process for the film is nearly over, and we are very pleased with the team we have together. As we prepare to bring this narrative to life, we ask that everyone wait for official announcements,” the creators stated in a statement.
Geethu Mohandas is the director of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, which is co-produced by Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions. The movie will be released in theatres on April 10, 2025.
Yash revealed the title of the movie on Instagram in December 2023, posting a video along with the caption, “‘What you seek is seeking you’ – Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups #TOXIC.” The actor’s appearance in the movie, complete with a cigar in his mouth and a cap, was teased in the trailer.
According to the hype, the movie is an action movie with the drug mafia in the background. Actor Yash came to fame when the KGF films were a box office hit. Fans can’t wait to see him in Toxic now.
