Ram Charan’s Game Changer hits the theaters on 10 January. The film’s OTT rights have been secured by Amazon Prime Video, with a streaming release expected next month in February. However, the official date for the digital release is yet to be announced.
According to a report in 123 Telugu, Ram Charan & Kiara Advani starrer Game Changer is expected to release on Amazon Prime Video in the second week of February, and the OTT release date has been set for February 14.
Meanwhile, the movie has received mixed reviews, and this has been reflected in its box office performance. In regions like Tamil Nadu, box office collections are on the decline and the leak of HD prints could add to the financial woes of the game changer.
Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ opened big with Rs 51 crore but is seeing a rapid decline, reaching Rs 128.85 crore in two weeks. Despite the low gross, it remains a major contender alongside Ajay Devgn’s ‘Azaad’ and Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’, where Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sky Force’ is set to enter.
A game changer, like Pushpa 2, is like KGF, not a movie. It’s a post-movie. The whole point of one scene is to bring up the next scene. You can feel it diminishing even as it speaks for itself.
