Chavaa, Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama, will now be released in February 2025 instead of December 2024. Chavaa was initially set for release on December 6, 2024. Pushpa 2 had just been released nationwide the day before. The outstanding hype for the Telugu action thriller was expected to have a major impact on Chavaa’s business. Probably this is why the producers decided it was safe to move the film to a different date.

The film also stars Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, Santosh Juvekar and Pradeep Ram Singh Rawat. The title is a reference to Sambhaji’s nickname, which means ‘lion cub’ in Marathi.
