This vibrant track is a tribute to Vijay’s iconic dance and career legacy. ‘Jana Nayagan’ will be released on 9 January 2026, the day of Pongal/Mangal Sankranti. This is considered Vijay’s swan song before his full entry into politics. Seeing him as a public figure, fans believe that there could be no better cinematic farewell than this to mark his cinematic farewell.
The 3-minute 21-second lyric video of Jana Nayagan’s Thalapathy Kacheri features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, vocals by Anirudh Ravichander, Thalapathy Vijay, and Arivu, and lyrics by Arivu. The video begins with a colorful celebration of Anirudh singing and playing guitar on stage.

In the latest news about the film, Jana Nayagan has reportedly signed a big OTT deal. It is learned that Amazon Prime Video has finalized a deal worth Rs 110 crore for the digital rights. As per the deal, the OTT giant will exclusively stream the film in multiple languages after its theatrical release. The theatrical window is likely to be for four weeks. Jana Nayagan is set to hit the theaters on the occasion of Pongal on January 9, 2026.
