Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan recently visited choreographer Dhanashree Verma’s home for her cooking vlog. The two shared a warm conversation about life, family, and moving forward after difficult times. What stood out was Dhanashree openly speaking about “manifesting love again” after her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Farah was taken aback by her honesty but also admired her courage.
During the visit, Farah explored Dhanashree’s Mumbai home. She was impressed by the artistic touches, especially the paintings in the hallway made by Dhanashree’s grandmother, who painted them while battling Parkinson’s disease. One painting of two birds sitting together caught Farah’s eye. When Dhanashree called them “love birds” and said she was manifesting love, Farah gave her a supportive side hug and joked about her bravery.
The conversation also touched upon Dhanashree’s past. Farah recalled seeing her at parties with Chahal and mentioned how her life had changed since then. Dhanashree confirmed that things are now settled and cordial between her and her former husband. She also looked back at her early days, sharing how she had trained as a dentist and even treated Ranbir Kapoor once before choosing a career in dance.
Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal were married in 2020 but separated two years later. Their divorce was finalised in March 2025. Since then, Chahal has been linked with RJ Mahvash, though both have denied being anything more than friends. Despite the split, Dhanashree has remained positive and continues to believe in love.
On the work front, Dhanashree is stepping into new opportunities. She will be part of Ashneer Grover’s reality show Rise & Fall, which premieres on September 6 on Amazon MX Player. She is also set to make her debut in Telugu cinema with the dance drama Akasam Daati Vastaava, expected to hit theatres in October. For her, both personally and professionally, life seems to be moving forward with fresh beginnings.
