The first glimpse of Khalifa, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, was released on his birthday, and fans couldn’t have asked for a better gift. The short video shows Prithviraj as Aamir Ali, a powerful gold smuggling kingpin who rules with confidence and style. The glimpse begins with a news anchor talking about a massive smuggling network in the Middle East, setting the tone for a high-stakes action drama.
In one of the scenes, the police warn an old man that Aamir will be arrested if he enters India. But the man calmly reminds them that Aamir Ali is the grandson of a notorious gangster who once forced the government to act against smugglers. This little exchange hints at a story filled with legacy, power, and revenge. It’s clear that Aamir Ali is no ordinary man — he carries the weight of a dangerous bloodline.
The teaser also shows Prithviraj in a sharp black suit, exuding style and authority. He is seen fighting his enemies fearlessly, with stunning action sequences that promise a visual treat. The background score by Jakes Bejoy and vocals by Hanumankind add extra energy to the scenes, making them even more gripping. Viewers have already started praising the combination of music and visuals.
Fans flooded social media with excitement soon after the video dropped. Many called it a “Hollywood-style” Malayalam film and said Prithviraj’s performance looked larger than life. Comments poured in appreciating the “Prithviraj–Jakes Bejoy combo,” while others said the movie could be the next big blockbuster from Mollywood. Clearly, Khalifa has managed to raise expectations sky-high.
