Athiradi has officially started shooting in Kochi. The cast and crew held a traditional pooja ceremony to mark the beginning of the film. The movie stars popular Malayalam actors Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, and Vineeth Sreenivasan, with Riya Shibu playing one of the female leads. Most of the story will take place inside a college campus.
